Construction

Built on a modular grid, one break in the path

Everything derives from the stem width w. Rails are one w wide and 5.25w apart. The diagonal runs from the foot of the right rail to the head of the left rail — the true N diagonal — carrying a single directional break at 46% of its length. The click node terminates the start. The conversion node terminates the end, one step larger, with a tight ring of base blue around a core of signal cyan.

w 42 = 5.25w click conversion break
  • Stemw = 8 units on a 64 grid. Every dimension is a multiple of w/2.
  • NodesClick r = 0.94w. Conversion r = 1.19w, core r = 0.94w. The ring is exactly w/4, so it dissolves on its own below 24px.
  • BreakOne kink, 4.5 units off the straight line. The path leaves the click shallow and arrives steep.
  • DirectionSignal runs bottom → top. Keeping a correct N means it also runs right → left; the cyan node is what the eye lands on, so the climb still reads.

Deliverable 3

Three executions

Same geometry, three corner treatments. Each shown on both grounds at identical scale.

A

Sharp

Every corner a true right angle. Butt caps, mitred joins, zero radius.

B

Radius 2

One radius, 2 units — a quarter of the stem — on every corner in the mark.

C

Tile

Execution B held inside a rounded-square container at 60% optical scale.

Deliverables 1 & 2

Horizontal lockup

Mark to the left, optically centred on the cap band, separated by exactly one stem width. The wordmark is one unbroken word in one colour; only the weight shift from Medium to Bold divides Click from Nerve. On ink, base blue steps up one stop to hold 5.09:1 — the cyan is left to glow on contrast alone rather than on an effect.

Deliverable 4

The 16px test

These are real rasters, not scaled vectors. The master mark holds from 24px up. At 16px it silts up, so below 20px the mark switches to a pixel-hinted micro cut: kink dropped, ring dropped, node solid cyan, everything snapped to whole pixels.

Master at 16px

Counters silt up, the ring greys out, the break is gone.

Deliverable 5

Single colour

With colour removed the conversion node keeps its meaning by knocking out its core, so the two dots stay distinguishable — one solid, one open. This is the cut for invoices, PDFs, faxed insertion orders and white-label partner deployments.

Mark only — one path, one fill, even-odd. No gradient, no effect, no second colour.

Clear space

One stem width, all round

Nothing enters the zone — no rule, no edge, no other logo. Minimum lockup width 96px; below that, use the mark alone.

w

Colour

Four values, flat

Two carry the mark, two carry the surface. Cyan appears on the conversion node core and nowhere else in the identity — the moment it turns up in a button or a chart, it stops meaning “arrived”.

Base

#2563eb

Mark, rails, diagonal, click node. Matches the live product UI.

Signal

#22d3ee

Conversion node core only. Never anywhere else.

Ink

#0b1220

Wordmark on light, dark surfaces, container tile.

Base lifted

#3b82f6

Substitutes for base on ink surfaces. 5.09:1.

Excluded

Ruled out on purpose

Each of these was available and each was rejected. Listing them is cheaper than re-litigating them in six months.
